Workshops and Education
Photography can be taught to a certain point. Beyond that, it has to be experienced – in the field, at the right moment, with someone who has already made every mistake worth making.
Fine Art Masterclass at Calumet
A two-day intensive covering the complete fine art black and white workflow – from location scouting and ND filter technique to long-exposure shooting and post-production in Lightroom and Photoshop. Run in partnership with Calumet across multiple cities including Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Stuttgart, and Munich.
Designed for photographers who already know their camera and want to take their work to a different level.
Upcoming dates are listed in the calendar below.
Private Coaching
Not every photographer wants a group setting. Private coaching is fully tailored to what you need: three hours online going deep into a specific technique, or several days on location working through everything from the shot to the finished image. Photographers travel from across Europe for these sessions, and we work entirely around you.
Online and in-person. Get in touch to discuss what makes sense.

advanced fine art workshop Hamburg
11.07. 2026 | Hamburg, Germany
This advanced workshop isn’t a rigid, one-size-fits-all program, but a customized deep dive. This workshop is as exclusive as fine art photography itself, because you have the opportunity to help shape parts of the agenda: Before the workshop begins, you can submit your specific hurdles and current challenges directly to me. I will then incorporate these specifically into the program so that we can start exactly where your workflow still leaves questions unanswered. In addition, I will cover the following topics:
Deepening your understanding of perspective and composition in fine art photography
– Conscious photography with an eye toward later image editing
– Shooting strategies for combining long-exposure and
short-exposure photography
– Planning image series and motifs with clear artistic objectives
Image editing (focus):
– Advanced masking and selection techniques in Photoshop
– Efficient strategies and workflows for complex fine art compositions
– Developing a structured, reproducible editing process
– Artistic decision-making process: from the raw file to the final image
– Deepening the emotional impact of the image (“emotional connection”)
