Photography

An Unusual Path. A Distinct Perspective.

Before photography, I spent over a decade as an engineer working on packaging design and consumer understanding for global brands like Dove, AXE, and Rexona. My job was to understand how perception is formed — how people come to believe in something before they’ve ever experienced it.

That background still shapes everything I do. It trained me to think in structure, detail, and function. It gave me a discipline that sits underneath the creativity — and makes the creativity reliable.

In 2017 I made the decision to turn my greatest passion into my profession. I haven’t looked back.

How I work

My shoots usually begin with a conversation — often days or weeks before the first shutter click. I want to understand your brand and the story behind your project ahead of time. Knowing your specific vision ensures that the final imagery isn’t just technically perfect, but strategically on point.
And yes — some projects are more or less self-explanatory, but even then, that initial alignment sets the foundation for a result that truly works.

Once the vision is clear, I study the space itself: its architecture, the intention behind it, and how light behaves within it at different hours. This level of preparation changes everything — it means fewer decisions made under pressure, and better ones on location.

When I’m on site, I work with natural light and controlled flash to shape what is already there, not to replace it. Most images are built from multiple exposures and refined entirely by hand. No presets. No automation. No shortcuts.

The result is imagery that doesn’t just look good. It works — in publications, on websites, in the pitch decks and portfolios that determine how your work is seen by the world.

What You Can Expect

A clear process. Honest communication. And images that hold up — visually and commercially.

I work best with architects, designers, and hospitality professionals who care about how their work is perceived. If that sounds like you, I’m happy to hear about your project.
